The MPBasis system

Parts to register patient, hospital, doctor and insurer information and when needed additional debtor and or creditor information. Additional an insurer price agreements module is present to register treatment prices per specialism, per declaration code, per time segment.

DBC Registration |
|
Registration of DBC’s (translated from Dutch: Treatment Diagnoses Combination) of treatments given regarding the specialism and the appropriate criteria. Registration, with or without DBC, of AddOn’s (meaning in Dutch: expensive and or extraordinary medication) or OZP’s (meaning in Dutch: other healthcare products). Each and every DBC has to be registered based on its treatment date in relation to the code tables as distributed by the Dutch government, valid for the given treatment date, and in relation to the Dutch regulations and legislation, valid for the given treatment date.

Declaration export/import |
|
Declaration of DBC DBC's, AddOn's or OZP's, optionally grouped by location and or specialism and or time segment, using the patient insurer information in relation to the treatment date, priced accordingly to the registered price agreements, processing the financial bookings and the generation of declaration files when needed. Declaration files can be processed by insurer administration systems, can be processed by other MPBasis systems (data exchange between multiple administrations or for use as the MPBasis factoring system) or can be processed by external factoring systems.

Invoicing |
|
Independent care providers (care providers who do not want to use the factoring facilities) can use the declaration module in order to process invoicing themselves. For those products that fall outside the scope of the DBC systematics, a separate invoicing program is present within the financial administration.

Scheduler |
|
A central scheduler system in which appointments regarding multiple administrations using multiple specialisms, multiple care centers and doctors can be registered. When entering an appointment, among other things, the system will check for availability of the chosen location and the availability of the regarding doctor. Per administration settings are present on how the scheduler screen should be presented and how appointments should be displayed and processed.

This system is somewhat comparable with ‘standard’ facility management software (like the Prequest systems I worked on at ISDC bv, see 1998-2002 VE bv) whereas in this software the manageable part is which competences are needed for which duration, on which dates, on which location and consequential, which temporary workers are present in the Adecco databases that meet the required qualifications and, when needed, which vacancies have to be formulated in order to fill in the missing competences.
